Nine types of sensors such as general-purpose sensors, high-power sensors and Blu-ray applicable sensors
Threre are nine optiacal sensors of four types (general-purpose, blue-violet, high-power, three-wavelength) with different shapes (thin-type, cylindrical-type) are available.
The three-wavelength optical sensors 82314B, 82324B and 82314BW are capable of measuring 405nm, 650nm, 780nm wavelength ranges.
The blue-violet optical sensors 82312B and 82322B have realized a flat wavelength sensitivity characteristic and low dependency on an angle of incidence in the 405 nm range.
The high-power optical sensors 82313B and 82323B enable high-power measurement of up to 200 mW.
The 82311B and the 82321B can be used in a wavelength range from 390 nm to 1100 nm. The calibration wavelength is 780 nm.
The 82311B is a thin-type sensor useful for optical disc measurement and measurement in a narrow space.
The 82321B is a cylindrical-type sensor useful for measurement in a build-in sysmtem or on a optical bench and optical fiber measurement.
The calibration wavelength options are also available.
The wavelength senstivity is corrected by using typical values stored in the memory of the sensors. When the wavelength sensitivity correction option is adopted, the wavelength sensitivity of each sensor is measured and corrected when calibrating.

The 82312B and 82322B blue-violet sensors have a characteristic that flattens the sensitivity of wavelengths between 400 and 420 nn. This saves time in performing sensitivity correction at each measurement and always offers high-accuracy measurement results.
The 82312B is a thin-type sensor useful for optical disc measurement and measurement in a narrow space.
The 82322B is a cylindrical-type sensor useful for measurement in a build-in sysmtem or on a optical bench and optical fiber measurement.
The calibratoin wavelength is 405 nm. The wavelength senstivity is corrected by using typical values stored in the memory of the sensors.

The 82313B and 82323B sensors are suitable for high-power measurement such as optical discs using high-power laser diodes. It is possible to measure optical power up to 200 mW without saturation when even when condensing light on the light receiving surface. The wavelength range is from 390 to 1100 nm, and the standard calibration wavelength is 650 nm.

The 82323B is a cylindrical-type sensor useful for measurement in a build-in sysmtem or on a optical bench and optical fiber measurement.

The 82314B, 82324B and 82314BW are three-wavelength sensors that are suitable for laser measurement of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs. The wavelength range is from 390 to 900 nm, and the sensitivity in the range from 400 to 420 nm is flattened in particular. Thus, if the wavelength of the light source is different, sensitivity correction is unnecessary and high-accuracy measurement is possible. The standard calibration wavelength is 405 nm.
The 82314B and 82314BW are thin-type sensors useful for optical disc measurement and measurement in a narrow space.
The 82314BW is capable of easy and stabilized measurement of emmision light of high-NA lense because its light receiving surface (18×18 mm) is wider than that of the 82314B (10×10 mm).
The 82324B is a cylindrical-type sensor useful for measurement in a build-in sysmtem or on a optical bench and optical fiber measurement.

*1: The sensor options are used in combination.
*2: The wavelength sensitivity correction option for the 82311B (OPT82311B+20) is not available to the 82311B supplied with the OPT8230E+11.
However, this option is valid if the 82311B to which the OPT82311B+20 has been already applied is connected.
*3: Only available when the software of the 8230 is B01 or later.
*4: The wavelength senstivity correction uses the typical values stored in each optical sensor.
*5: The full-scale value of analog output varies deepnding on the wavelength setttting, correction value (CF) and range setting.
When the wavelength sensitivity correction setting is set as sensor calibration wavelength, the displayed full-scale value becomes the full-
scale voltage (+2 V) of analog output.
